Mom and Dad in front of our home near Morris, NY
We bought this house and one acre in 1960 for $1,000.
What you see here is the result of many years of renovation.

Here's a view of the house in winter
Picture is taken from the frozen lake (Allen Pond).
Here's a
pic of Dad and Roger skating on the lake.

Yet another view of the homestead,
this time showing the rich summer green
On the other side of the house was a pond,
where many refreshing dips were had

Roger in "Cathedral Woods", 1978
You can't see it here totally, but the tree canopy and
forest floor give the impression of the hall of a vast cathedral.

Roger worked as a surveyor from 1978-1979.
Note the stone fence, a remnant of Colonial days

Roger's dog, Pal, at the "top of the hill", 1981
Pal lived from 1966-82, and was the finest mutt there
ever was.
Here's a picture of Roger and Pal in the
same place

Another "top of the hill" shot.
Bob, Mark, and Rich

Same place as last photo, but from opposite direction
